How to build
a pond using pond liner
- Mark out
the shape of the pond.
- Dig the sides
at a slight slope and check the top is level.
- Remove all
abrasive objects, lay a bed of sand and install a protective underlay,
ready for the liner.
- Anchor the
liner with smooth rocks across the top and bottom. SLOWLY fill
the pond with water and adjust the anchors as the pond fills.
Tuck creases to keep the liner tidy.
- Allow the
liner to mould to the natural shape of the hole before trimming
any excesses or installing decorative surrounds.
- Ensure the
liner is NOT pulled tight or stretched at any time.
- Lay edging
stones (or other) to complete the appearance.
